Manufacturing and quality planning
Cosmetic Packaging Manufacturing Process
A reliable packaging run begins before printing. Finer Pack connects product measurements, structural development, artwork checks, sampling, material and color approval, production, quality review and packing into one documented sequence.

01 · Decision guide
What happens before production starts?
The team freezes structure and approval references before materials and tooling are committed.
- Review product dimensions, weight, channel, quantity and delivery market.
- Develop and approve the dieline with the real product or a controlled model.
- Check artwork, bleed, safe zones, color references and finish layers.
- Choose a sample route and record what the approved sample represents.
02 · Decision guide
What should be controlled during printing and finishing?
Production checks should follow the approved construction and visible acceptance points.
- Confirm board, wrap, ink system and artwork revision before the run.
- Check color against the agreed physical or measured reference where applicable.
- Review registration around foil, embossing, spot UV, folds and cut edges.
- Inspect construction details such as scoring, glue, wrap alignment and insert fit.
03 · Decision guide
What should be recorded before shipment?
Final review connects the packed goods to the order specification and delivery plan.
- Verify quantity, packing count, labels and outer-carton condition.
- Confirm the agreed inspection scope and document visible findings.
- Protect finished surfaces and assembled rigid boxes for the selected route.
- Retain the approved reference and production version for future reorders.
Buyer FAQ
Questions to settle before sampling.
When is a production dieline created?
It is created after the product dimensions and structure direction are confirmed, then checked through the agreed structural sample route before final artwork release.
How is cosmetic packaging color approved?
Critical color is reviewed against the agreed reference on the intended substrate and finish. A screen value alone is not treated as a complete production standard.
What determines production timing and MOQ?
Construction, material availability, tooling, print and finish complexity, quantity, packing and approval status all affect the plan. Exact timing and MOQ are confirmed after the specification is reviewed.
